Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman was a British actor and director from 1978 to 2016. Rickman trained at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. He`s first debut was Romeo and Juliet in a role of Tybalt. His first big television part was in 1982 ( in Busted by role Simon) but his big break was in 1985, he was nominated for a Tony award by a play called Les Liaisons Dangereuses. He gained more notice from film Die Hard-Hans Gruber (1988) and from Harry Potter-Severus Snape (2001-2011). (Harry Potter was the film where i first meet him and where i started to like Alan). He acted in many movies and drama: Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (which he received the BAFTA Award for best actor in a supporting role), Jamie in Truly, Madly, Deeply ( I like this film very much), Coloney Brandon in Sense and Sensibility, the title character in Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny (won him a Golden Globe), Harry in Love Actually, Alexander Dane in Galaxy Quest and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd: the demon barber of Fleet street. He was talented. He could sing and also dance (he showed his talent in lots of films). Sadly Rickman died of cancer on 14 January 2016 at the age of 69. His final film roles are as Lieutenant General Frank Benson in Thriller Eye in the Sky, and the voice of Absolem (the caterpillar) in Alice Through the Looking Glass. But he will always alive in our heart.
